After months of work, I’m very excited to share this 8-minute Cinema Vérité Style Documentary we produced!
Friends of ours were filming a dramatic ballet project, and Colt Bradley thought it would be a fun opportunity to practice making a Cinema Vérité Style Documentary (Cinema Vérité means a documentary where you mic up multiple characters, film them all day, and don’t interfere).
After 2 very long days, we captured our film, and after months and months and months of editing, we were able to turn that film into a story!
This project was extremely hard. The shoot days beat up my body, and the editing beat up Colt’s brain. But we learned some incredible lessons along the way, and both grew through this process.
Big thank you to the team that helped us pull this off. Each one of you is a champ!!
